Lyrics

I couldn't find satisfaction in this life that had just begun.
The novels I piled up, again I admire, yet reality never changes.
I wish I could change my life as easily as changing my hairstyle.
Snorting with a laugh, I stared at the mirror again today.
In the mirror, I ask myself: 'Life is equally unfair, isn't it?'
I cry, and someone else will laugh, I suppose.
The self-proclaimed one who looks down is rotting away.
I can't be convinced by mere soothing words or pretty platitudes.
Of course, people betray, right? That's just how life is.
I tell small lies too, and I've also been jealous of others.
'We're comparing our happiness,' they'd probably laugh at that.
I wrote my limited time on paper.
Regret from giving up; if I give up again, reality won't change.
It's not 'I can't,' but 'I want to do it' is fine. Shall we proceed at a walking pace?
Even though it's about me, I was the one giving up.
In the mirror, I ask myself: 'Is life truly unfair?'
Someone else will decide my worth, I suppose.
I should just tear up and discard such rules.
Happy people, unhappy people, dreams that came true, dreams that didn't.
Overcoming the night when I truly felt the difference there, I live as myself.
Everyone has nights they want to die, crying alone.
I know that even efforts sometimes don't pay off.
I realized I was living as that self-proclaimed one who recited platitudes and hypnotized myself.
I'll live true to myself and greet tomorrow.
Who decided that flowers bloom and then wither away?
The flower that decided to bloom forever sings and plays tomorrow.
